November 13, 2024, "Libyan Army Special Forces Participate in Naval Exercise in Tunisia", Libya Review. Libya’s naval special forces, aligned with the Libyan National Army (LNA), led by Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, participated in the Phoenix Express 2024 naval exercise in Tunisia. Phoenix Express 2024, an annual exercise, is part of U.S. AFRICOM's initiative to support African maritime capabilties.
